Parish Council: The Parish Council gathers together the thoughts and ideas of the parish community, works with those ideas until they reach some general agreement and translates this consensus into parish priorities. These priorities are the stimuli for programs, which the parish community will carry out. They likewise serve as the main consultative body for the parish administrator. Bi-annual elections are held to fill the open positions among the eleven elected members, who serve a four-year term.
Finance Council: The Finance Council has the responsibility for establishing broad policies in the area of the management of parish goods in line with the parish goals and objectives determined by the Parish Council. Meeting at least twice a year, the Finance Council reviews: budget, audit, investments, long-range financial planning, fund raising, etc.
Building and Grounds Committee: Meeting in November and May with the parish Plant Manager, this committee helps oversee the orderly maintenance and development of the Parish's buildings and grounds. Capital improvements are developed in conjunction with the Parish Council goals and the advice of the Finance Council. |
