Secular Franciscans - The Secular Franciscan Order is the "lay people's" branch of the worldwide Franciscan Family, that is, the secular expression of the movement and order begun in the Catholic Church over 850 years ago by St. Francis of Assisi to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. St. Francis clearly saw lay people as being called to share in the fullness of the Christian vocation, living the Gospel ideal in their families, their lives, and their faith.
Presently there are over 2,000 people in preparation to become Secular Franciscan in the U.S.A. alone. YOU CAN BECOME A PART OF THE NUMBER! ARE YOU CALLED TO INQUIRE INTO THE SECULAR FRANCISCAN ORDER?
The Secular Franciscan Fraternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary meets every second (2nd) Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Padua House (beside the church).

Charismatic Prayer Group - The focus of this group is to give honor and glory to God in the form of songs, praising prayers, and the use of the charismatic gifts. This type of prayer has proven to be a good vehicle for Christian renewal by drawing the individual into a deeper personal relationship with God, thereby allowing the person to offer themselves as a minister of God's gifts to community and parish as they come into a deeper understanding of their Catholic faith. This group meets every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the church basement.

Fatima Prayer Group - This main purpose of this group is to respond to Mary's request at Fatima to pray for world peace. This is accomplished by gathering weekly and praying together the rosary as intercessory prayer for peace in the lives of individuals, families, the parish, our Church, country, and the world. This group meets in the church each Monday at 7:00 p.m. to pray all fifteen decades of the rosary.

Knights of Columbus - This is a Catholic, Family, Fraternal organization. It has a long history of charitable donations and service to families, parishes, communities, and the Church. The Knights have done much to support St. Mary's Parish and Cemetery and to encourage Church Vocations. They typically have two meetings a month, one business and one social. Service projects and fund-raising activities are regularly scheduled, but members are not required to participate in all of them.

Stations of the Cross - At 3:00 in the afternoon, during the Fridays of Lent, we pray the Stations of the Cross within the reflective atmosphere of Eucharistic Adoration in the Church. The service ends with Benediction.
